Mosquitoes are holometabolous insects and all larval stages are aquatic. Adults are recognized by their long proboscis for piercing and sucking, and characteristic scaled wing venation. Adult females lay their eggs on or near water. Adult male mosquitoes are relatively short-lived, and do not suck blood, but feed primarily on nectar and other plant juices. Females also feed on nectar as their primary energy source, but they require a blood meal for egg production in most species. Some mosquito species are very host-specific, blood-feeding only on humans, birds, mammals, or even reptiles and amphibians, although many species will feed on any available host.
Aidis Mosquito |
Now rainy season starting in Bangladesh. At this time mosquitoes are increasing heavily. Because mosquitoes lay their egg in water. In rainy season water are available so it is easy for them. Every year we see that at that time Aidis mosquitoes extend one kind of disease name “DANGU”. And many people attack by this. So I think government need to take corrective action from now. If our government takes necessary steps every body believe we can easily decrease such types of diseases. One of the important think is that not only government but also every body all around the country need to aware about the disease.
Generally Aidis mosquitoes lay their egg in such types of water which are remaining from many days.
