Bangladesh needs to widely use renewable energy i.e. Solar Power

Solar Plant
Present Government of Bangladesh now much more concern about electricity , For this reason to fulfill now a days demand they thinking about source of energy sector and the ultimate invention is renewable energy i.e. solar plant . To fulfill hundred percent demand of energy Government talk different solar plant related business unit such as Star Group, a power plant engineering company, said it has already bought land for the Aakash Solar Company and also is talking with American and Swiss companies to launch the plant later this year. Ali Akbar Khan, the managing director of the group, said  that "we have readied a plan to invest more than $100 million to manufacture solar panels by 2011,"

Star said it would initially assemble photo-voltaic panels and then gradually build manufacturing facilities over the next two years to cash in on rapid growth in the solar power system in Bangladesh.

Dr. Saifur Rahman, a Bangladesh-born American citizen, and Star would hold the majority stake in the company while Swiss and American technological partners would seize the rest. He said "Our plant would meet up the entire local demand and can also export sizeable amount of panels to countries in the region,".

Khan said the plant would bring down costs of panels for the charities who have been importing solar panels at a subsidized price from Japan. “Tokyo has said it would cut the facility by end of 2009. But we are confident we can keep the prices lower than the subsidized prices being presented by Japan."

Experts said the venture would plug the lone gap in the country's fast growing solar energy sector. Bangladesh is independent in all the accessories in solar housing systems including batteries and wires except solar panels that convert sunlight into electricity.

The move to build the plant comes as solar power makes inroads in a vast swathe of rural areas left untouched by the national electricity grid.

The numbers of solar powered households have reached around 300,000, almost double in 18 months, making it one of the fastest growing sectors in Bangladesh. Backed by soft-loan refinancing schemes by IDCOL, Grameen Shakti (GS) and other charities have lighted up homes and shops for around two million people.

The companies have also unveiled an ambitious plan to sell at least one million solar systems by 2012.Niaz Rahim, the managing director Rahimafrooz, which sells batteries to the charities, says the plant would speed up growth of solar systems in the country. he said” it’s an important survive in proposal and has been a necessity for powering the growth of the renewable energy," referring to Star group's move.

He said Rahimafrooz is also pursuing its own plan to build a photo-voltaic panel factory, as he sees Bangladesh emerging as a top solar-powered nation within years. He also said "solar power systems are changing the face of rural Bangladesh. And it would be a billion dollar industry within a few years".

Basically every thing like business, industries, School College, house for this reason day by day increasing electricity so it is really impossible to provide every sector hundred percent electricity. So it is a great opportunity to use hugely solar power in every sector. As a result it would be easy to achieve digital Bangladesh.

Fukushima Nuclear plant damage day by day

It is the first time for Japan to inform UN about the nuclear watchdog that fuel in its crippled Fukushima Plant may have melted through the bottom of three factor core vessels. Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) now says it believes 770,000 terabecquerels escaped into the atmosphere in the first six days compared to its earlier estimate of 370,000 terabecquerels.

Almost three months after the March ruin, Japan is preparing a report to be submitted this month to the UN International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which sent its own multinational fact-finding team to Japan recently.Japan's government plans to tell the IAEA that fuel is assumed to have melted down and through the reactor pressure vessels of units one, two and three and into their outer steel containment vessels, said the Yomiuri.
Yomiuri said that Tokyo will also pledge to thoroughly reform its nuclear safety systems, including by separating the watchdog NISA from the ministry of economy, trade and industry, which promotes nuclear power.

Bangladesh going to sign up an agreement with Africa ...

rice
One of the private sector company name Bhatibangla Agrotech is going to sign a land-lease deal with Tanzania this week to produce crops in the East African country. One of the important things is that in Africa all land owned by the Government every African or other take lease from Government and cultivate land .And the cost of leasing land is very cheap from our country. The private sector company first start there business from Tanzaina but later they spread there leasing area other African country.

Basically such types of agreement good for our country because it decrease our production cost and it increase our remittance and create our employment opportunity.

"We're going to submit our proposal and working plan to Tanzania Agriculture Partnership Department on May 20 and it's expected that the process will be completed within a week," Mizanur Rahman Azad, chief executive officer of Bhatibangla Agrotech, said from Tanzania on May 20.

"Initially, we would like to take on lease 30,000 hectors of land for 99 years with per annum cost of Tk. 135 per hectare. We want to start the cultivation on June 10."

Mizan said they had a plan to have 2.0 to 2.5 million hectares of land in Tanzania for cultivation.

Miza said that "I had a negotiation with the Tanzanian authorities on the lease agreement and I discussed 18 major points to be included in the deal," he said. "I want to incorporate protection of investment, personnel and establishments, and immunities and privileges of investors in the deal".

"I also discussed other major issues, including permission to grow any crop, procurement of farmers and seed from any country, repatriation of profit, and provision of loans," the Bhatibangla official said.

Mizan said there were scopes to take on lease lands in South Sudan, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda and Mozambique. "If land can be taken on lease in those countries, Bangladesh will need not to worry about food security for many years," he said.

A foreign ministry official said a business delegation last month visited Uganda and completed primary negotiations to take on lease 10,000 hectares of land.

"Agriculture ministry is going to prepare a guideline for taking land on lease for farming in foreign countries," he said.

The government has set a target of 36 million tones of food grain production in the current fiscal year, according to the Bangladesh Bank.

Dawn to Dust Strike on Sunday (05/06/2011)

Shekh Hasina
Recent top news in Bangladesh is dismissing the rule of caretaker government i.e. caretaker government are require for general election .Awami League cordially accept this. But Bangladeshi opposition groups are not agree with the present government decision. For this reason they called for a countrywide dawn to dust strike on Sunday to protest the government’s decision to discard the non-partisan interim government system to oversee the general election.
The caretaker government system is embodied in the Bangladesh constitution to ensure a free, fair, neutral and acceptable general election in 90 days.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, acting secretary-general of the mainstream opposition Bangladesh Nationalists Party (BNP), announced the shutdown at a press conference on Wednesday.
The opposition threatened that they would not participate in upcoming general elections, scheduled in late 2013, if the provision was scrapped.
It is the fifth general strike since the current Awami League-led government came to power in early January 2009.
Alamgir said that just four weeks ago the prime minister herself spoke in support of a caretaker government during her meeting with the parliamentary unique committee to study constitutional amendments.
The Supreme Court on May 10 repealed the 13th Amendment to the constitution that introduced the notorious caretaker government in 1996. The government argues that there is no opportunity for the neutral government to hold the election, while the section should be deleted immediately.
Opposition groups fear the government would manipulate its administrative powers to spoil a free, fair and suitable election.

It is a time for increasing AIDIS mosquitoes so need awareness

Mosquitoes are holometabolous insects and all larval stages are aquatic. Adults are recognized by their long proboscis for piercing and sucking, and characteristic scaled wing  venation. Adult females lay their eggs on or near water. Adult male mosquitoes are relatively short-lived, and do not suck blood, but feed primarily on nectar and other plant juices. Females also feed on nectar as their primary energy source, but they require a blood meal for egg production in most species. Some mosquito species are very host-specific, blood-feeding only on humans, birds, mammals, or even reptiles and amphibians, although many species will feed on any available host.
Aidis Mosquito
Now rainy season starting in Bangladesh. At this time mosquitoes are increasing heavily. Because mosquitoes lay their egg in water. In rainy season water are available so it is easy for them. Every year we see that at that time Aidis mosquitoes extend one kind of disease name “DANGU”. And many people attack by this. So I think government need to take corrective action from now. If our government takes necessary steps every body believe we can easily decrease such types of diseases. One of the important think is that not only government but also every body all around the country need to aware about the disease.
Generally Aidis mosquitoes lay their egg in such types of water which are remaining from many days.

Using mobile phone can cerate cancer ...

Recently world health organization published a new news relating to cell phone . They said that radiation from cell phones may cause of cancer. A team consisting of thirty one scientists from fourteen countries made the decision after reviewed studies on cell phone safety. The team found enough evidence about this matter. Such evidence said that using cell phone increasing Glioma and acoustic Neuroma brain cancer .The type of radiation upcoming   from cell phone is called non-ionizing. It is not like an X-ray, but more like a very low-powered microwave oven. “What microwave radiation does in most simplistic terms is similar to what happens to food in microwaves, essentially cooking the brain. "So in addition to leading to a development of cancer and tumors, there could be a whole host of other special effects like cognitive memory function, since the memory temporal lobes are where we hold our cell phones.” Wireless industry responded to Tuesday's announcement saying it "does not mean cell phones cause cancer." CTIA-The Wireless Association added that WHO researchers "did not conduct any new research, but rather reviewed published studies.” The European Environmental Agency has pushed for more studies, saying cell phones could be as big a public health risk as smoking, asbestos and leaded gasoline. The head of a prominent cancer-research institute at the University of Pittsburgh sent a memo to all employees urging them to limit cell phone use because of a possible risk of cancer.” When you look at cancer development -- mainly brain cancer -- it takes a long time to develop. I think it is a good idea to give the public some sort of caution that long-term exposure to emission from your cell phone could maybe cause cancer," said Dr. Henry Lai, research professor in bioengineering at University of Washington who has studied radiation for more than 30 years .
